Hey there! I’m Taylor Prokott, and I like to bake, cook, eat, share beautiful food, and teach all of you how to be the best chef you can be at home.

I’ve been obsessed with baking, cooking, and creating for as long as I can remember. When I was a kid, I was my mom’s right-hand-man in the kitchen. This room was always the happiest place in our home, as there was always something going into the oven, out of the refrigerator, or being written into the homemade recipe books.
I held onto this love of cooking all through my four years at Hope College, where I earned my degree in psychology and thought I’d continue caring for people in the medical field. Shortly after graduating, I realized that there was never going to be a better time to realize my lifelong passion for creating in the kitchen, and I made a giant career switch. Now, I’m earning my associates degree in culinary arts in Livonia, Michigan and, come May, I will be a graduate of the #3 culinary institute in America. I couldn’t be happier doing what I love!
While I attend school, I also teach a variety of private culinary classes, cater events, and, in general, cook up a storm! If you’d like to see some of what I’m creating, check out my Instagram or click through my website for photos and more information about the classes I teach.
